Pledges and Extra Pledges
June is the end of our fiscal year and June 29th is the last Sunday of the month. It would be very helpful in closing the books on Monday, June 30th to have all monies in by that Sunday, June 29th that need to be credit to your pledge accounts. If you send money via mail, please mail it early as they sometimes do not deliver on Saturday. I will check at noon on Monday, June 30th and deposit any money that comes that day. If you need more information on what you owe, please contact me at email@example.com. If you give Extra Pledge money, please note on the memo section of your check Extra Pledge.
The Bethany Bowl is looking for a head cook on the third Tuesday for the months of July, August and September. Anyone interested? Call Phyllis Rowell at 476-4277 for more details or e-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org The head cook's responsibility is to plan a menu, buy any ingredients that may not be already in the well-stocked pantry, and on the third Tuesday prepare the main entree. The other helpers will prepare all other parts of the menu. Reimbursements are made for all expenditures.
A Little Help?
Hello to all, It's Spring, and we are cleaning out our garages and attics. The usual buzz about looking forward to the Bethany Lawn Sale is starting. At this time of year, some folks are wishing there was SOMEPLACE ELSE to store those special boxes and bags (the ones that contain clean, attractive items, in good working order). It is still our policy to ask donors to wait until the week before the sale to bring their donations - and when we get requests for exceptions, the policy is to suggest that donors make private arrangements with other members who have extra space. Consequently, it would be helpful for us to know who has extra space so that this suggestion work well. DO YOU HAVE ANY SPACE WHERE LAWN SALE DONATIONS COULD BE STORED UNTIL LAWNSALE WEEK ? Please let us know asap. (email@example.com or 223-5307) If you choose to accept this mission... at the time you agree to a private arrangement, it is wise to have the donor PROMISE to take the items from your
space to the church during the collection week. For those of you looking for somewhere else to put those items, one option is to sell them independently and then donate the proceeds to the church. And if there is anyone out there who would be willing to manage sales of donated items on Craigslist or Ebay, we need you all year round!! THANK YOU
