We are collecting Food- for the Montpelier Food Pantry on the last Sunday of the month. Each month the Outreach Board focuses on collecting one type of food (as per request of the pantry). June request is peanut butter and jelly.

 Summer Nursery Coverage- We are seeking adults and high school teenagers to volunteer in the nursery for the summer months.  There will be a sign-up sheet after church for the next several weeks.
Save The Date - Mark your calendars for the 18th Annual Bethany Lawn and Bake Sale September 15 & 16. We will need many helpers starting September 10. Sign-ups will start soon - don't miss out on your favorite way to help support your church and community. Thank you, Bethany Lawn Sale Committee.
Melitta Maddox and Esther Farnsworth are forming a committee who will send cards and/or visit sick or home bound people and people who have lost a loved one.We would welcome people who would like to be part of the committee. Please call Melitta or Esther if you know of someone who would welcome a visit or a card. During the summer months- the Bethany Choir meets by the piano of at 9:15 AM each Sunday.  All are welcome to join us as we prepare an anthem for the 10 AM service.
2011-2012 Pledges - It would be appreciated if your 2011-2012 pledges could be completed before the year end of June 30th.
2012-2013 Pledges - There are still several individuals who have not turned in their pledge information for the coming year. If you have not done so and need a form, you may obtain one in the Church office.

Summer Sunday School- During the summer services, kids at Bethany can participate in some fun activities. June 10-Baking with Amy Bell, June 17, Drama and Art with Amy Papineau. June 24, Mandalas with Patty Turley

Bethany's Last Member Directory- was published in the summer of 2005.  It's time for a rewrite.  Are you interested in being a part of this project?  If so see or call Phyllis Rowell at 476-4277. We welcome ideas.

Bethany Bowl- Tuesday June 6, 2012   Fed 91  Head Cook: Phyllis Rowell Dishwashers: Conrad Rowell, Chloe Gordon from MHS and a new helper, Clayton   Helpers: Darene Colby, Meri Nielsen, Pat Seivwright, Anne DeVaughn, and Chris Terry.  It was salad day so Phyllis tried a new recipe, Keilbasa Summer Bean Salad with red peppers, corn, onions, and three kinds of beans, a carrot salad with pineapple and raisins, a fruit salad and tuna salad along with the usual yummy desserts and beverages.

The Good Samaritan Haven -dinner is scheduled for June 24th. Judi will be away in NJ for her grandson’s graduation party so she would really appreciate it if someone could take responsibility for getting it down to the kitchen after the Blessing, preparing it for delivery and getting it to the shelter by 7pm. Judi also wants to thank everyone for the wonderful dishes that were prepared for last week’s dinner with special thanks to those who stepped-up at the last minute and brought food to make up for the dishes that were forgotten due to the holiday weekend. Yahoo for everyone!!! Please get in touch with Judi (279-3177) if you can help out on the 24th.
