The Castleton State College Collegiate Chorale, Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. Sherrill Blodget; and Jazz Combos directed by Hank Vaughan
Perfroming a variety of repertoire featuring the John Rutter Gloria with brass and percussion, and including Brahms, Schumann, Schubert, Durufle, Debussy, Whitacre, spirituals, and African freedom songs.

The ensembles are all part of the Castleton State College Music Department, and tour regionally each spring and internationally every four years. The Collegiate Chorale is one of Castleton State College’s oldest traditions. The Chorale is comprised of music majors, minors, and non-majors, bringing a wealth of diversity and energy to the ensemble. The choir performs a wide variety of repertoire from different eras and cultures, and regularly combines with community instrumentalists to perform works of a larger scale. The Collegiate Chorale has done performances and workshops with noted artists including Francois Clemmons, Esau Pritchett, and Robert DeCormier. The Castleton Chamber Singers is a select ensemble dedicated to preparing high quality repertoire suitable for chamber choir. The Chamber Singers perform a variety of works from Renaissance Motets and Madrigals, to Contemporary Choral Literature. Performances include concerts and tours with the Collegiate Chorale, special events, and off-campus venues.
