We are collecting Food- for the Montpelier Food Pantry on the last Sunday of the month. Each month the Outreach Board focuses on collecting one type of food (as per request of the pantry). For the month of February our focus food will be fruit, dried, canned, boxed and bagged.

Auction - Saturday, April 21. The auction will begin at 10 a.m. The items may be previewed starting at 9 a.m. You can get a sneak peek at some early donations in the glass cabinet in the hallway toward the Parlor. Please fill out a donor sheet describing an item (or items) that you plan to contribute. You can leave the sheet in the office any weekday morning or bring it with you to church on Sunday.

This Year's Variety Show- is coming on March 31st! If you have not already, please let me know what Act you will bring to the Show. Stay tuned for more details about Dinner and signing up to be in the Audience. A DVD of "The Best of Bethany Church Variety Shows" is in the making.....Did I lend anyone the DVD's for 2007, 2008 and 2009? Please let me know if you have a copy of any of those years. Thank you. Christian Ethics-what are they? Are Christian Ethics any different from "regular" ethics? Come explore the basics of ethical thinking and action as well as current ethical problems in our world. Have you ever thought about joining VAST - Vermont Academy of Spiritual Training? Would you like to check it out before making a decision? Well, here is your opportunity!!! You are invited to take part in the Christian Ethics class that will be meeting at the Richmond Congregational UCC, one Saturday afternoon a month, from March - June. Remembering Archbishop Oscar Romero Saturday, March 24 - - All over the world, people and churches remember Romero, assassinated while saying Mass on March 24, 1980. We invite you to join the San Antonio Grande committee and the El Salvador travelers for a potluck in the parlor at 6:00 p.m., followed by a viewing of the excellent film "Romero."
