News Of, For and About the Food Pantry

Food Pantry Collection
March

The Food Pantry loves us. This month we are asked to focus out giving on Fruit Juices. Boxed, canned, powered, concentrated, family sized or lunch box ready; they are looking to have plenty of fruit juices. All are good, but let's not go crazy with prune juice.

On the last Sunday of the month we will dedicate all the food and send it to the Pantry with God's love and our hope.

“Souper Bowl” XLV Scores

Led by cheer leaders Carrie Youngblood and Jamie Merriam, Bethany fans showed their team preferences in Superbowl XLV by putting donations in appropriate soup pots for the Packers or the Steelers. Team Bethany raised $177 for the Food Pantry and Bethany Bowl. Everybody Wins! Thanks for your generosity.

This national effort has raised $8,631,700 in 2011 by 10,537 groups.

You're the cheese to my macaroni!!

One of my all time favorite foods. Baked, creamy, slow cooked, boxed or from scratch, it's all good!! Southern, gourmet, topped with bread crumbs or not, everyone has a recipe and an opinion as to what makes the best Macaroni & Cheese. This is such a versatile dish and a great tool for stretching the food budget by adding veggies, beans or meat.

Thank you Bethany for keeping our shelves well stocked.
