The Brown Bag is beginning the study of Bishop Katherine Schori's book: The Heartbeat of God, Finding the Sacred in the Middle of Everything. This study is strongly recommended by Joan Chittister OSB, (one of our favorite authors in years past) who says: " The Heartbeat of God should be read, studied and discussed in every parish hall of every Christian tradition--so that the renewal of the church may finally, finally begin in a world that knows that the revolution that is Jesus is long overdue."
Food for the Montpelier Pantry
Each month the Outreach Board focuses on collecting one type of food (as per request of the pantry). At the end of the month we gather all the food collected and bless it before we send it to the Pantry. People may give any type of food, it too will be collected and blessed and sent. For the month of February our focus food is Mac and Cheese. So, bring in boxes, or cans of Macaroni and Cheese, or bring in boxes of macaroni. Other donations are also welcome.

Missed Worship? The announcements, including some that were only verbal, will be posted to the web site www.bethanychurchvt.org. on Monday Mornings at 9:00am.
