Announcements-
If you would like to have your announcement printed in the bulletin, please have it into the office by 9:00 am Thursday morning.

Bethany Church Cookbook - Coming May, 2011! Please submit 3-5 recipies for inclusion. You know we have great cooks in the church. Now you'll be able to have their recipes in one place when you purchase this new cookbook. Forms to submit recipes are available in the Narthex, Church website or by emailing Judy Ribolini at ribs2@myfairpoint.net and she will send you a form via email; you can type your recipe and return to her via email for inclusion. Last day for submission of recipes is SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 27. You may also pre-order your cookbook(s) on the recipe submission forms or just tell a member of the Committee you want a copy or copies. We estimate the cost to be between $10 and $12. Questions? See Judy Ribolini, Vera Winter, Kathy Cowens or Jim Conneman. Other committee members include: Melitta Maddox, Katrina Pelkey and Mark Pitton.

The Brown Bag is beginning the study of Bishop Katherine Schori's book: The Heartbeat of God, Finding the Sacred in the Middle of Everything. This study is strongly recommended by Joan Chittister OSB, (one of our favorite authors in years past) who says: " The Heartbeat of God should be read, studied and discussed in every parish hall of every Christian tradition--so that the renewal of the church may finally, finally begin in a world that knows that the revolution that is Jesus is long overdue."

Food for the Montpelier Pantry
Each month the Outreach Board focuses on collecting one type of food (as per request of the pantry). For the month of February our focus food is Mac and Cheese. So, bring in boxes, or cans of Macaroni and Cheese, or bring in boxes of macaroni. Other donations are also welcome. Food will be dedicated this Sunday and then a new food.

The announcements will be posted to the web site www.bethanychurchvt.org. on Monday Mornings at 9:00am.

Bethany Book Group- February's read is Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. Discussion will be on March 6.

Think Spring-Think Flood-Would you be willing to come to the church at a moment's notice to help move items (tables, chairs, etc) out of the basement in case of a flood emergency? Leave your name in the church office. Gary Rogers will be the initial contact person Thanks!
