Announcements- If you would like to have your announcement printed in the bulletin, please have it into the office by 9:00 am Thursday morning.

After worship today, come to the parlor to take a chance on the happy afghan that Judy Ribolini made for the Share Fair. Tickets will be available at 1 for $1.00 and 6 for $5.00. On December 19 we will sell tickets once again and will hold the raffle during hospitality. Try your luck for a great gift.

Youth Group! Tonight at Youth Group you will have the opportunity to make a gift for someone in your family! Please bring $5 to cover the cost! See you at 7 PM!

Bethany Book Group-December's read is Havah: The Story of Eve by Tosca Lee, to be discussed on Sunday, January 9th.

Greening the Church - Join the Deacons as we decorate the church for the Christmas Season! We will meet this Wednesday, December 8 at 6 PM for a Soup and Bread supper followed by decorating.

All are welcome to attend- Montpelier's 40th Annual Community Carol Sing on December 12 here at Bethany. Admission by a donation of food for the Food Pantry. Area choirs will perform. The audience will sing many traditional carols and the (now famous) Hallelujah Chorus "off the wall." Contact Arthur Zorn for more information.

For The Food Pantry-We had a great amount of pasta and food this last Sunday. For December we will collect canned foods; veggies, fruit, meat, milk, sauce, etc. We will collect all month and dedicate them on December 26.

Second Sunday Concert - December 12 @ 9:30 am. - Denise Ricker on flute; Arthur Zorn on piano. In the Chapel. Coffee available. Free and open to the public.

On the evening of December 12, we need children for the community carol sing to act in the pageant. We supply the costumes. There are no speaking roles. This event will have broad exposure in the Montpelier community. Does your child want to be involved? Please tell Patty Turley (223-5488).

Willem Lang reads A Christmas Carol! 7 PM, Sunday, December 19 at Christ's Church in Montpelier. Donations to support the Montpelier Food Shelf.

San Antonio Grande- The Outreach Board will again be offering commemorative stars to be hung on the Christmas tree in the Narthex. A star in memory of a loved one can be purchased for $5.00 or more in our church wide effort to raise money for San Antonio scholarship fund. Note cards picturing San Antonio Grande families will also be available.

The Bethany Bowl volunteers appreciate the many donations that arrive at the kitchen door BUT could we ask you tell us who you are and indicate if the offering is really for the Bowl or some other group using the kitchen. We don't want to use something that may be meant for another group.

PINS Christmas Gifts- Tags with holiday wishes from individual children are available in the narthex this morning. Gifts will be received next Sunday, December 12. Thank you for helping foster parents and social workers provide a merry Christmas for area children and youth!
